At this time, unlike Real Estate/Real Property Appraisers, there are no state or federal licensing or educational requirements to become a Personal Property Appraiser. While a well-trained jeweler or gemologist can identify what your item is, specialized education in valuation methodology is essential to ensure accurate value assessments.

All of our appraisal events are conducted in person because we recognize the importance of having your jewelry appraised accurately and efficiently. To ensure convenience, you also have the option to drop off your items, and we’ll notify you once the appraisal is complete.

Insurance Appraisals
Our jewelry appraisals are accepted by all major insurance companies. A detailed appraisal helps ensure a precise and comprehensive replacement process from your insurance provider. Some policies and carriers may require additional appraisals to verify sales receipts and descriptions.

Estate Appraisals
Fair Market Value appraisals serve a variety of purposes, including estate planning and legal requirements. Our appraisal services comply with IRS requirements for a “qualified appraisal” by a “qualified appraiser,” as outlined in IRS Pub. 561 and IRS Revenue Proc. 66-49. We adhere to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) to provide reliable valuations.
